SMS Consent for Appointment Reminders
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Vedati.ai provides AI voice agents and scheduling workflows that may send SMS appointment reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notices, and related service updates on behalf of Vedati customers.
How consent is collected
End users provide consent before receiving SMS messages. Consent may be collected when an appointment is scheduled through a Vedati-powered voice agent, website form, intake workflow, phone call, or in-person conversation with the business using Vedati.
Example consent language:
“By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive SMS appointment reminders and scheduling updates from Vedati and/or the business you are scheduling with. Message frequency varies based on your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
SMS messages we send
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Rescheduling or cancellation notices
- Service-related follow-up needed to manage a scheduled appointment
Opt out and help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact the business that scheduled your appointment.
Privacy
SMS consent and phone numbers are used only to provide the requested appointment-related communications. SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
